A contemporary kitchen adds cachet to a traditional Cape Cod home. The Port Streets in Newport Beach are known for traditional architecture — block after block of Hamptons and Cape Cod residences. After nearly two decades, the Hanna family decided it was time for a kitchen upgrade. Rather than keeping it strictly traditional, they took the kitchen into more contemporary terrain: swapping the expected dark walnut floors and white cabinets for something more architecturally striking.
